Plate Layout Tab

Use this tab to select wells to add samples and maintenance commands to the plate. For

more information about the functionality of this tab, see “Plate Layout Tab” section.

Create a New Multi-Batch

Batches > Batches > New Multibatch

Use this button to add or remove pending batches to the multi-batch set up and to run a

multi-batch. A multi-batch is composed of one or more pending batches which, together, will

fit on one plate. Use the multi-batch feature to conserve plates. You can also use this button

to verify or change the start location of the next batch indicated by the highlighted well, before

adding another pending batch.

NOTE: You cannot add a batch that forces multiple plates to a multi-batch

operation. When creating or adding batches, ensure your batches fit

on one plate.
